Our Thanksgiving was laid back, per normal. We ate, had mimosas, watched football (there was wayyy too much football on), watched the Macy's parade, ate some more, napped, played, and that about sums it up. Harlen made a cute turkey place mat at school the week before, but she slept right through most of Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. She isn't a fan of much Thanksgiving food. I don't even think she had a bite, but she has been using her place mat every morning with her breakfast. I have a feeling Oakley will be ALL about Thanksgiving food next year.
Lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, and always. Our sweet, little addition to our family, healthy, beautiful growing girl, one great daddy and husband, rockin' grandparents, and our date night a few days before Thanksgiving! Woo hoo! Ok, so we did have to bring little man, but it was the closest thing we have had to a date night since... our time alone in the hospital when Oakley was born.
Anyway, we had a great day, but it was a wonderful week with daddy being off for some many days. I could get used to that. Looking forward to his Christmas time off and so is H.

American Girk store fun. So cute how they had all the displays out and down low for the kids to play. |

Oakley came down with a cold Saturday and then Sunday passed it to me. Hoping it doesn't go any further. Poor sweet boy. |
Thanksgiving night has been deemed the night that "Eddy", our elf, appears. Garrett and I wanted to make him "zip line" in from the window for his grand entrance. He brought H a note and some ornaments to color and hang on her own little tree. Eddy is even more fun this year for her, but it sure is a lot of pressure on mom and dad! Ha
Now we just need 23 more "Eddy" ideas!
